The MDA / ALS Center of Hope at Temple offers patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular disorders an experienced, multidisciplinary care team in one convenient location.

The center’s team includes physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, mental health specialists, speech pathologists, nutritionists, and case managers who are all experienced in caring for patients with neuromuscular disorders.

From the initial consultation, the physician-led team begins to establish the diagnosis, educate patients and families about the disease and care options, and recommend treatments that are both disease and symptom directed with a focus on quality of life. Our team is committed to optimizing independence and function at every stage of the disease and identifying resources to help with care.
